Andrea I Szilagyi
Andrea I. Szilagyi was born on 12 April 1970, in the picturesque town of Turda, in Transylvania, Romania. She was introduced to music, art, and culture early in life by her mother, who used to take her to operas and symphonies. Her upbringing was filled with both beauty and adversity, particularly being raised under a communist regime.
At the tender age of 14, Andrea and her family fled communist Romania, taking a grueling trek through Yugoslavia and Italy before reaching the United States as political refugees. They finally settled in Texas, where her mother worked as a chemist and researcher at Texas A&M University. Andrea pursued further studies, completed high school, and subsequently studied journalism with a French minor at Texas A&M.
Andrea has had a rich mix of experiences—some happy, some sad. She spent some years in Turkey with her son and husband, feeling love, betrayal, and spiritual awakening. She was a good artist and singer and sang French classics and country songs in intimate cafés. She also deeply loved travel, food, and studying different cultures and histories.
What defined Andrea’s philosophy was her near-death experiences. Having experienced three NDEs in her lifetime, she started discovering deeper spiritual realities by reading hundreds of books and studying from thought leaders such as Dr. Raymond Moody and Dr. Brian Weiss. These experiences gave her a sense of purpose: to heal others and make them realize that we are all souls experiencing a human journey.
